I painted this piece 3 times over, like there was something I needed to capture or pull out of myself that wasn't right until it was. I had imagined these mystical mountains, somewhere in a real or unreal space. The chaos of trying to bring it from my mind into reality informed the style, the mountains themselves blurring into blocks of color on the right side of the canvas. Some people see it as pixelation, I see it as colors paired down to the essentials, where my ideas begin.
